In the Github page for the DeDRM project, the file config.py is trying to load Qt 5. On the Calibre change log it mentions that Calibre 6 now uses Qt 6, and Qt 5 plugins may not work. It’s free, and it has versions for Windows, OS X, and Linux. As a stab in the gloom, I think it has to do with the Qt library. The software that I recommend is Calibre.
